Our Mid Summer Special Offer is still available, but not for much longer. So if you haven’t got round to booking yet then don’t delay. Give me a call or you can book online.
Marija and Steve flew with us on 3rd Jul 2010. They were lucky enough to have won the vouchers in June at an event held by the Charterhouse Club. We were hoping to take off from the grounds of Charterhouse on Saturday but the wind direction was not suitable so they met us at the Squirrel and the flight took off from Fernhurst. Steve sent us some interesting data that he had downloaded from a GPS that he took with him on the flight.
Thank you for the lovely experience last weekend, it was amazing!
I’m sending three pictures from Steve’s Garmin, maybe you’d like to forward them to everyone.
On the same flight were Tim and Laura who phoned us in the morning as they had decided they fancied going ballooning and they took to the skies that evening.
Finally got round to sending you a note to say thank you very much for the wonderfuld flight we took with you on 3rd July.
We thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening and have been telling as many people as possible about it (and your special offer of course). it was great to be able to do it at such short notice; when we woke up in the morning we had no idea we would be in a hot air balloon that evening!
When we got back to The Squirrel after the flight, Laura gave her card details to one of your chaps to order the photographs. We notice that this additional amount hasn’t yet been debited from our account. Please let me know if you need our card details again to process the order. We will then be able to complete our story about the flight to everyone!
Thanks again to Tony, Sarah and the rest of the crew.
Tim & Laura!
Laura and her sister flew with us on the 27th June 2010. It was a lovely evening. Although it had taken them a while to get around to arranging the flight I think they enjoyed it!
I just wanted to thank you and your team for letting me and my sister have such a great experience, I had a great evening and so much fun! One experience I won’t forget!
This really is a fabulous offer. A Champagne Balloon Flight Voucher for an incredible £99 per person.
These vouchers are valid until the 31st December 2010 so the flight can be arranged at anytime before the end of the year. The voucher is unrestricted so you can take the flight on any day of the week.
Even though we have significantly reduced the price we have in no way altered the experience that you will receive – it is the same flight experience as any of our other vouchers. The only condition is that the flight is taken before the end of the year.
The flight is about an hour with a Champagne Celebration after the flight together with Commemorative Flight Certificates. You need to allow 3-4 hours for the whole experience. Once at our meeting point, The Squirrel Inn Hurtmore, everything is organised for you until we get you back there after the flight.
If you are thinking of arranging a balloon flight for yourself or as a gift for somebody else then this is the ideal opportunity!
Take a look at our Special Offer page for more details or to book online. Or give me a call and I can take all the details over the phone.

We really have had some fantastic weather during late Spring and early Summer and have been doing lots of flying.
We continue to be basking under sunny skies and there is talk of possible hosepipe bans. The farmers that we know could really do with some rain but I’m not sure we are going to be getting much.
If you take a look at Positive Weather Solutions website www.positiveweathersolutions.co.uk there predictions for July are that high pressure will persist in the South of England so this is the place to be, with more in the way of dry weather and temperatures in the mid 20’s – their predictions for June were pretty good so perhaps Summer will continue with some more ideal ballooning weather we hope!
Even looking towards the end of the month they predict mainly dry and warm weather but with the warmer temperatures we may be in for some thunderstorms too.
Everybody on this mornings flight was celebrating a special occasion, but there was great cause for celebration as we had two people who had to get up early on their Birthday’s to go ballooning. Lisa didn’t even know what she was going to be doing until she arrived at The Squirrel and saw the balloon – I’m not sure I would get up at 4.30am on my Birthday!!
It was another stunning morning and it was a lovely flight. They took off from the Squirrel at Hurtmore at about 6.30am and gently drifted southeast and landed at Dunsfold an hour later with the crew waiting in the field to greet them. We were all sipping Champagne in the sunshine back at the Squirrel by 8.30am. All of that before most people have even started work!
For those that don’t do early mornings we also fly at the other end of the day meeting at about 6pm – some say that’s far more civilised!!
