BALLOONING IN KENYA MARCH 2010
22nd March 2010 was a day that had to be marked by some ballooning as it was Sarah's 40th Birthday!! With the weather in the UK not being predictable at that time of year it meant we had to make it into an overseas balloon trip. WATCHING THE SUNSET OVER THE SURREY HILLS
After our balloon flights we normally take everyone back to the Squirrel where we have a Champagne Celebration and presentation of Commemorative Flight Certificates but it was such a wonderful evening on Friday 21st May 2010 and Tony had landed in such a lovely location that we decided to serve the Champagne whilst watching the sun go down. WHAT DOES SUMMER 2010 HOLD??!!
That’s a difficult one to answer especially as even the Metoffice got it wrong in 2009 when they told us we were going to have a BBQ summer!! We are definitely overdue a good summer – but will it be 2010? Can you imagine how noisy seventeen eighteen year old girls can be!! Especially when they didn’t know that they were going ballooning!
